And what truth? It's not about the release of the flicks. It's about how much better DC flicks are compared to Marvel. The only decent Marvel ani flick is Hulk vs. Both UA were forgettable, and I own them. I think the second one was better, FWIW.

Marvel again in the same timeframe dropped 2 movies...... TWO. The last in 2016.

So of course their old shyt is gonna be forgettable just like no one talks about it remembers Superman: Doomday or Justice League: The New Frontier

Those were all the films done between 2006-2011

For their time, those were VERY SOLID films and I thought they hung well with the contemporary films around that time. That essentially is all I was ever saying

I think films after that, Marvel was taking some chances (anime style, CGI, and Christmas specials) that werent going after the same target audience and there were hits and misses.

But as time progressed the stories have generally got better (I dont know why I have to keep repeating this) JLDark is very good, BM Killing Joke is VERY GOOD, I really like Death of Superman, which I just literally watched last night.

THE QUALITY CONSTANTLY IMPROVES

But dont sit here and tell me Batman Scooby Doo is one of these GREAT DC animated cartoons or Batman Unlimited: Mechs vs. Mutants.

I gave DC animation their props.... they are killing it but at the same time its not like they have competition to pull from, 24 movies in three years vs 2 movies in the same timeframe. You just can't dismiss that.

If alls yous want is for me to say that “2016s Killing Joke is better than 2007s Iron Man”, then GOTDAMN man.... it was. Does that make you happy now?

Why is DC's animated better or at the very least more prolific?

Do they just have better creative talent? Is it prioritized more with DC than Marvel since Marvel has film going strong?

Will this change within the next 5-10 years?

Marvel just seems less interested in both animated movies and video games.

Marvel could have dropped 5 great ani flicks 10 years ago, 3 good ones 5 years ago, and 2 meh ones a year ago. People would praise the good ones, but the reality is they never dropped anything noteworthy. I don't see why people are bringing up quantity because that's not the point.

Marvel's ani flicks are just not memorable, plain and simple.

DC is adapting pre-established storylines. Not all of marvel animated is doing that, unless it's an origin story.

Last time Marvel did that was Avengers: EMH, and it was a hit to me. Still haven't watched season 2 though...
