Why is the Camron/dipset movement not regarded as the blueprint for current hiphop today?

Wasn’t nobody out here dressing like rae and ghost and nas. And unless you 50 years old miss me talking bout slick rick and Kane.
Lmao. Are you 15? Because if you are older than 25 you need to pay attention more. You obviously were sucking on a bottle in the 90s. Camron is a ghostface clone. Dipset made shyt like ed hardy and tight jeans popular. Guys like rae ghost grand pubas era and before them made POLO, Tommy Hill, etc big in hip hop. If you really want to compare aint no comparison.

Talking bout 50 years old but dont know which mcs influence others. 80s put on polo, kangol, etc for 90s to put on what they did... to dipset.

You prolly wanted a pink leather when yoU were growing up so you could be “young and fly” too lmao.

wutang wasn't even on the map when grand puba was in his prime, putting it down for tommy & POLO.

ghost, rae, Cappadonna, AZ, nas. those guys were highly fashionable, but they weren't trendsetters like that. they weren't rockin anything that wasn't already popular, except maybe wallabies or something like that, like homie said.

you cant put them in the same breath as a Camron or grand puba.

ghostface did influence Camron tho. hes prolly cam's favorite rapper. but cam wasn't jackin his gear.

The fact them nikkas still have relevance and fans yearning for another :flabbynsick: comeback speaks to their legacy.

What more do you want? That’s as big a compliment as any in hip hop
