I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
My favorite sup, growing up poor I really identify with the struggle my man Pete had to battle with :wow:

My man was saving an entire city block but getting fired from his Chinese food delivery job at the same time
That's about the only thing relatable about Spider-man: his financial problems. Meanwhile, he has a genius level IQ, had multiple women out of his league go gaga over him, and he gets to rub elbows with the powerful elite like The Avengers.

this thread is talking about people like me. I don't like Spiderman. I find his character to be like the epitome of corny comic book hero shyt. And i don't like the whole happy go lucky teenager shyt they dude with him all the time. I don't see the point in constantly rebooting spiderman and going back to the same starting point everytime and retelling the same aunt may shyt and him struggling with that chick he tryna smash.

TYRONE GA!
Marvel could really sink Spider-Man if they wanted. Kill him off in the comics right before the movie comes out.

that's dumb as fukk considering they eat off EVERYTHING else Spidey related outside of Movie rights.

If it wasn't for that 90's cartoon nobody would regard spider-man that high, every other peter parker has been corny wack nerd, how does a 90's cartoon got better one liners than all these spider-man movies

Tobey Maguire was terrible as spider-man and peter parker, his lines were 60's batman corny, he had zero swag, zero one liners, the green goblin was a terrible version of the character, his costume looked like rita was about to throw a staff at the nikka to make him grow

Andrew Garfield spider-man was the best one visually, he moved like a spider, he fought like a spider, he used his environment and showed intelligence like spider-man, but once again his personality was forced, it was a try hard, corny edgy type of character nothing witty like peter parker is suppose to be

Tom Holland's spider-man is just terrible, the movies are terrible, doesn't even seem like spider-man movies, but some kind of random kids movie, he got more tech and gadgets than batman, the fights are not good, the amazing spider-man had better cgi and better fight scenes by far it's not even close

so you got 3 terrible movie series that people dikk ride to death so all the hate is deserved, especially when people try to discredit Blade who brought Marvel movies to the big screen then the MCU got gentrified with those TERRIBLE X-MEN MOVIES

All those X-men movies are fukking garbage, yet people wanna act like they aren't

Hugh Jackmon was not no goddamn wolverine, once again how a cartoon gonna have more personality and charisma than a live action actor, that shyt is embarrassing

Bc he’s a teenager. nikkas ain’t looking up to a teenager. We already watching cartoons and comics :birdman:
This. He was my favorite superhero growing up, but as a grown ass man I fukk with Batman more. They never seem to develop Spider-man's adult life outside of comics.

Wasn't like that at first though..when he blew up, he was struggling with bills, didn't ask any female out and was intimidated by girls out of his league, and uses his genius and creativity to barely skate by as a hero.

It wasn't just the bills piling up. Spidey is one of the few superheroes that tries to have a separate life outside of the costume. No matter how hard he tries to balance it, it backfires. If he tries to take a little something for himself, something terrible that he could've possibly prevented as Spidey, happens to a loved one. If he goes hard on being Spidey, his personal life suffers tremendously. Those things eat away at him. It's impossible for him to win, so he relishes in the small brief moments of happiness..YET, he still pushes on. Plus, to him, no one is better than anyone else, so if there's anyone that needs help, he does it. F4 only deal with galactic and universe problems, the Avengers work on gov't and global ish..they don't worry about the every day person. The X-Men only worry about mutant issues, Frank don't give AF about anything outside the streets, Daredevil only worries about the Kitchen...Luke & Danny, Misty etc are for whoever hires them..Spidey fights for everyone.
