a lot of casual listeners have money to blow aka the college crowd, when a song reminds you of a great time you had at a party, you're more than likely going to want more of that artist. Kid Cudi did that with his first album but didn't have to juice to be consistent like Post. It is what it is, the young crowd and their grandmas can listen to him

nah you right, i agree completely with that but also being white gives you a quick peak and most of them disappear right after the quick push is gone, there are few that remain relevant after that, very very few. Eminem, Mac Miller (had a real nice career going) and Post. Everyone else just fades to obscurity. By then, you really have something to offer if you're still here.
