truth be told

yal better hope that never happens because then used/discounted blurays/video games will cease to exist.

Those little retail sales they have on digital games/movie don't compare to the shyt you could find used off the net for cheaper
You simply just don't know what you are talking about. The only thing you are missing is the possible resale of the product, but even that will change soon.

Games not on sale? Explain how I legally obtained over 300 games at about $6 each on a average then? Recently released titles too when I was gaming all the time. I NEVER got games cheaper than that.

Word. nikkas downloading 1 gigabyte blu-rays now? :what:

No Dolby TrueHD? No DTS-HD Master Audio? :usure:

Dolby Digital 2.0? :scusthov:

most blu ray rips have those mentioned above

and the average size from a good quality rip ranges anywhere from 2.5 gb to 5 gb

No they don't! Most Blu-ray rips only use regular DTS or regular Dolby Digital 5.1

You have to download 1:1 Blu-ray remuxes to get Lossless audio. But those take up so much space, that you might as well just buy the official Blu-ray release than go through all that trouble.

Most of them don't. A good rip would start around the 10 gb range and that won't have the really HQ shyt. The great rips would be in the >30gb range.

What kind of rips are you getting @ 2.5 gb? Are you sure they're HD?

:manny:

nobody give a fuk bout that shyt breh.

Swag Splashing on thousands of blu ray rips a day for free >>>>> spending 20-30 bux for one blu ray disc

I have a few retail blu ray disc that don't look much different than blu ray rips. If u find a good rip they're basically identical to the naked eye.

when the day comes that i can buy a digital copy and not have to agree to some waiver stating that i dont own the game, im just using the license,

and _____ has the right to terminate use at their discretion, is the day i believe physical media is a thing of the pass and until that day i will have hard copies of my shyt

:snoop:at me paying full price for mass effect 2 on psn and not really owning the game

If you have a properly set-up Big screen 1080p (or higher) HDTV or projector, Blu-ray player/PS3, & 5.1 audio system, You can EASILY tell the diffidence between a Blu-ray rip and an actual official Blu-ray retail disc.

I have all of thee above ^^^

Sony Bravia 1080p, Sony bluray player and PS3.

Minus the surround sound, my Receiver is from 2001 and lacks an HDMI port so I can't even hook that up if I wanted, plus I like to be aware and alert of my surroundings while I'm watching a film. With surround sound a nikka could be creeping up behind u with a knife making mad noise and you'd be like "damn, this ish sounds like the real deal" because it is :to:

You can tell the difference between SOME bluray rips, but there are others that are identical to actual blurays from the naked eye breh.

I was watching a bluray rip of The Warriors the other day that looked better than the Store bought Retail version of Rise of the Planet of the apes.

and yes my TV is calibrated.

The thing about BD rips is that you never really know what you're getting when u download it, but there are a few guys ripping films who know exactly what they're doing and it looks top notch

and of course there are a few torrents with actual sized Blu ray rips that are like 20/30 gb for one film with all the menus n shyt. But if they don't look much different than the 3gb rips then why waste time downloading all that?
