:smh: at that stupid-ass article and anybody who co-signed it.

I look at streaming and digital downloads (legal & illegal) as just an alternative to renting a movie or TV show. If I care about a movie or a TV show enough that I want to own, I'm NOT goin settle for some inferior iTunes download. I want the official Blu-ray or DVD release. It just feels much more official than a digital download and Blu-ray blows all the digital formats out of the water.

Getting rid of physical media is overkill, I prefer having the best of both worlds :yeshrug:

It will be around, you will just have to pay a premium for it.

It's already happening. All PS Vita games cost more if you want to buy them at the store instead of PSN.

:smh: When they start doing that with console games, get at me. The PS Vita and other handheld game systems might as well be an alternative to an iPhone/Android or iPad/other tablets.

The year 3030
Until these services include the extra content that most DVD/Blu-Rays offer, I'll be supporting digital and physical.

I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I have enjoyed commentaries/deleted scenes/etc. As far as I know, none of those services offer that...yet.

Fukking faggits I swear

C/S

I'll gladly buy physical and digital media depending on what gives me a better bang-for-buck. It seems that people assume a lot of things are just a zero-sum game when it comes to technology.

You can miss me with depending too much on "the cloud" though. Backing up data on a remote server somewhere is fine, but I'll be damned if I don't have my data stored locally as well (whether on my machine or on an external hard drive). The example of what happened to data stored with Megaupload is worth keeping in mind at least. There were plenty of people who stored legitimate data on their servers who are SOL now.
