The DMV
Half of those who don't pay taxes are elderly, retired people.
Then, there's the students, disabled, military vets, etc.
Romney makes it sound like 47% of Americans are minorities on welfare
:pachaha:

^^^^People need to know that information. The largest problem is the uninformed voter.

the problem is that BOTH sides are fukked up.

you can't be black and NOT see that Welfare is a problem. too many people are dependent on govt checks in the hood. It's ruining our culture and creating a dependency amongst the future generations. Even tho it helps some folks, there are a bunch of people who use the money as an excuse not to work.

BUT

the answer isn't as simple as just saying "F your poor people" like the Republicans.

i wish there were more options. until then its still "The party of bad ideas" vs "the party of no ideas."

Good post, that's why I shrug at this incident, there is nothing new here

another way of looking at it is that your enemy is usually right about you, its true that democrats promote dependency and it's also true that reply Republicans cling to guns and religion

I overpay in taxes and get a refund check but that check doesn't amount to the total taxes I paid for the year.
just cause you get a refund doesn't mean you didn't pay taxes and Income taxes are only one form of taxes.

Romney is talking about federal income tax. Why would he be talking about other any other taxes?

:usure:

[- About half of those who pay no federal income tax are allowed to do so because their incomes are too low.

- Others take advantage of specific tax breaks, including a large portion used by the elderly, but also the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Credit. Both of the low-income tax breaks have been expanded recently under Democratic and Republican administrations.

Factbox: Half of Americans pay no U.S. income tax? Well, sort of ..
