Just say we don't give a shyt about the poor. If you're broke fix your own damn life its not our responsibility to take care of your ass. If you're old and you don't have money then just die. If you don't have insurance or a job good enough to get you decent insurance that's your problem.

instead they masquerade like they care about everyone but put in place policies that favor mostly themselves.

Don't they basically say this already?

Poor/working class white people need to smarten up and stop voting against their best interest.

This will never happen

Poor and lower middle class whites are happy with their trinkets.

Many are brainwashed by the corporate conservatives to view visible minorities, illegal immigrants, and foreign entities (china, india, etc.) as their "enemies"

Because that's not what they believe in at all...I've always maintained that both sides have good intentions just different philosophies for the well being of all...as a conservative I feel that forcing charity through government leads to unintended consequences which worsens whatever the problem was in the first place

Taxes in itself create distortions and inefficiencies in the marketplace. The less taxes there are for all the easier it is for a society to exist with maximum affordable options in the market that will always innovate with time and create boundless opportunities for work and wealth creation

Also a guy like me believes that thing like social security and Medicare and education have much more affordable available better serviced options for everyone even the poorest of the poor in a pure free market...

And private charities and churches are best to handle those who are in poverty and perhaps a small safety net or a national charity that is optional to donate too during tax time.

I speak for myself as an example of a conservative person who does not ascribe to what you feel conservatives want...

This whole your an evil communist who wants to control the world or I'm an evil capitalist who only cares about myself is disingenuous political theater that is just part of the game but isn't true at all...like I said most people have empathy for other human beings ...just different ideas of what is prosperity for all

Because most people wouldn't vote for them if they did. Honestly, this country is not nearly as far to the right economically as the Conservative media often suggests- there's a lot of statistical and rhetorical trickery involved in those kinds of things.

lol wut

There is no such thing as a purely free market Sly. Corporations and the rich have always lobbied on their behalf. Why shouldn't regular people lobby on their behalf as well. You have been brainwashed into thinking there can ever be such a thing as a purely free market.

There can't be a pure free market because that would mean government wouldn't exist...and there still needs to be a military police force and someone to maintain the roads

Why can't people get together and lobby for their beliefs...look at the tea party

Conservative media outlets, whether Fox, talk radio, individual print commentators, or various publications/websites like the Weekly Standard, NRO, Christian Science Monitor, etc, often report that the American public is generally center-right, which I am contesting based on evidence from similar studies that phrase the questions differently and employ different rhetoric.

That's my point exactly. As long as government exists, different factions will always lobby the government to pass policies that is in their best interest. As someone who is not in the top 1%, why would you throw your support behind policies that benefit them? if I pay income taxes, why would I support policies that reduce capital gains to zero? I look out for my interests. I don't know whose interests you are protecting because it's definitely not yours.

You can't dump all the safety net programs on churches and charities and expect them to still be there. They can't raise the kinda money to handle all that. In a free market with everything privatized and deregulated the crooks will feast and the little guy will get fukked over and starve.

the attitude I see is if you're poor you should find a way to not be poor on your own but poor people aren't poor because they want to be.

if you don't want to pay taxes and you don't really want a government that's fine just say that quit masquerading your ideals that keep the rich rich and tell the poor go fukk themselves or go look to a church to save them as the greater good for all because its not its the greater good for yourself and people like you and let all the old and poor fend for themselves or let some charity handle it.
