I have a MBP and I'm definitely getting a PC soon as I can afford it...I have a bunch of games I want to emulate and some modding to do on GTAV/Spider Man.

This. Apple is mostly marketing and elitism. They make you pay more for inferior product. All the advantages they had over PC (high speed interfaces for peripherals, music recording, video editing, digital art) are gone. PC is better on more or less all fronts now, people are just fanboys or entrenched in the Apple ecosystem.
