It was a let down after Days of Future Past, imo. Apocalypse didn't feel that powerful or menacing, and I felt that Jennifer Lawrence phoned in her performance. Also thought Quicksilver was overpowered

First Class is the best X-Men movie IMO, and even that is FAR from being a great film.

Like I said in the Apoc thread, I think Fox needs to do a COMPLETE reboot of the series and start with the OG 1963 team OR pick up "in progress" with the 1975 'all-new, all-different' X-Men team.

apocalypse should be the one character you cant screw up..i was hyped with the post credit scene in DOFP with him.....he was pg 13 rated in this...and doesn't do his story justice AT ALL

Because no one expected it to be a difference maker and thought it would flop...the X men franchise to a threat to agendas because Days of Future made bank.
