Is it just me or is there some NYC rap music that only appeals to people in/from NYC? Big L falls in that category for me. I am not from there and I am not into his music anymore. I sold all my Big L records and don't regret it in the slightest.

not from NYC. i dont listen to big L every day but im impressed whenever i do

because nikkas try to put him in the same breath with legends who died like big, pac, jam master jay, pimp c, eazy, even pun...no one outside NY listened to him, half of us learned his name because he died

hes definitely a much better rapper than eazy e. not more of a legend but a far superior rapper.
