nobody's talking about the price to buy it people are talking about the price to rent it. this has nothing to do with white people or black people. this has to do with people thinking $25 to rent something is too high for 24 hours. i'm not gonna rent 200 dollar nikes that i have to take back the next day when to buy them it's $250. you're comparing buying to renting

its quite simple, instead of trying to hustle dvds for 25 bucks. they all realized they make more money posting their digital specials for 5 bucks. not 5 bucks to rent for a day, 5 dollars to own.

Hi. This is a comedy album. It's the audio from my last of 3 shows that I performed at Madison Square Garden early this year. Some of the material is in the Comedy Store Special. Some of it isn't. But it's also a fun show on its own. BUT since it's repeated material, I'm giving you the option to set your price anywhere from 1 dollar to 85. The default is $5. I hope you like it.

Price: so I didn't know what to charge for this because a lot of the material was on my Comedy Store special and it was hard to get good sound because comedy is intimate and MSG is large, so there's a lot of sound slapping around everywhere though the sound engineer and the mixer did their level best.

So we have the price set to 5 dollars but you can lower it to 1 dollar or raise it to 85. that's the maximum, because beyond that, I don't want your crazy money. Not for this show.

Louis CK is the only person who explained his pricing structure and it's priced so low because the video contains repeated material from other specials.

bruh, what are you talking about. that's how comedy works. they do the same jokes on tour for months (to years) before putting out a special. after that, they burn their whole act and write new material. not to mention this is all from tariqs tour, so it's not like we're going original content either. plus, i guarantee most of what tariq says in his lectures, we've heard on his ustream/podcast already

i don't know why you're fighting me so hard on this. if y'all really want tariq to succeed, y'all should be on my side. most of us will not spend 20 bucks on this, lets just keep it real. however, if it were 5 bucks, a much larger % of his fanbase would be willing to cough up the money.

its a PROVEN method of success for those who have tried it. all this talk about jordans and black people not supporting our own is a damn smoke screen.

Yeah, the only reason I started watch TS's videos is because, in the beginning, he was so funny. Dude should just be a stand up comedian. But here lately he's just been so freaking negative I haven't even been able to watch any of his videos.

You suggest a lot of the content on Tariq's lecture can be found in the podcasts, therefore the people who think $20-25 is unreasonable can continue getting the information 100% free by listening to archived episodes of his podcasts, problem solved.

That's what I was thinking earlier. If he put his Hidden Color series on KweliTv, not only would it help both KweliTv and him get more viewers, but it would be easier to access and share, creating more viewer and supporter who will look out for more Tariq Nasheed works.

i don't even know what you're trying to argue at this point.

yeah, a lot of it is recycled content, the same goes for joe rogans or bill burrs free podcast. i'm saying they found a cheaper model that makes them more money in the end. most of us will not rent this for 20 bucks, 5 bucks would change a lot of minds however
