lol exactly, of course he could have just listed it to buy only for 25, but then cats will say "I aint buying no lecture for 25",they see that 20 and think its a "better deal". People have to understand Tariq is a regular cat from the street. a Corporate company will do something like 5-10 to rent and 20 to buy, but even then if I`m spending money I prefer to just buy it in general. My thing is even then the dudes complaining are complaining just to cry and moan because they dont rock with dude. Its like me making threads about people spending money doing something I dont like, what kinda pitiful stuff is that? I`m not spending my bread so I dont give a damn.

so obviously people are willing to pay for content that they've potentially heard before. i know i'd probably buy tariqs lectures @ 5 bucks, but for 20 a rental--nah.

This lecture is on sale for people who did not go to the lecture point blank. IF you wanted to hear about it just watch his ustreams he covers the same content and its free. If you want to show love and support then buy it. I dont understand how this is a difficult concept for some.

It's for the people who did not go to the lecture.
They might want to have a reason and incentive to go to a future lecture. So they would rent the lecture for $5.99. Not $19.99.
Then if they liked it, they would buy it to own it permanently in support of him and go to a future lecture.
imo the only valid argument is that he should have just put it up for sale for 20-25 and no rent option. If I want to show support to him and see he has it for 20 to rent I`m just going to go ahead and buy it for 25. I cant tell him how to run a business, at the end of the day he can do what he wants, its up to the consumer to decide if they want to support.
you could alternatively browse Tariq's 40+ hour library of podcasts for free and spend $0.

how do you conceptualize this as a viable rebuttal?
people who think $20-25 is too much money have the option to spend $0 and browse Tariq's archive of free podcast shows, which you suggest contain a lot of the same info that's in the lectures, that way no one is being hustled and Tariq isn't "getting away with" anything.
seems like you're responding to me with arguments i havent made. can you show me where i said any of this?
like i said, if y'all were really for tariq, you would agree with me. a price drop would garner tariq more sells and spread his information to a larger base.
