I was at the Birthday bash where P brought the whole fukking New Orleans to Atlanta and shut Pastor Troy's set down...I also heard about C-Murder slapping Troy backstage and threatening him, but I did not see it....

Plus, there are stories about P from back in the Richmond days, like with Chilee Powdah and King George. The dudes that were loyal, P took care of them...the ones that weren't they did not have happy endings

It's not that he gets a "pass" it's that it's understood that he's irrelevant and nobody cares....

Now when he WAS relevant that nikka was Diddy levels of entrepreneurship/hustling hell maybe even more, dude had his OWN movie studio. It wasn't like he was an actual "rapper" who was biting Pac while simultaneously claiming Goat. He was a popular personality who happened to have a small ability to rap and put on nikkas who COULD rap.

pretty much. Master P levels of innovating on the hustle game still cannot be matched.

Exactly. King George was the man and he was like P's non-blood brother and they were running it with TRU...but George started running his mouth and saying real slick shyt about P and his family in '97, so P dealt with him, got him blackballed, and he is where you saw him (notice how P removed all images, lyrics, and anything associated with King George from No Limit films, CDs, etc. in '97). He even took the lyrics off othe re-release of Tha Ghetto's Tryin 2 Kill Me and re-edited the TRU -Bout It video to remove the part "King George, Calli-G, you know, they bout it bout it."

there were rumours in the late 90s that George made sexual advances or molested someone in P's family (probably P's wife Sonya). thats why he got dealt with like this

oh and you know WHY P gets a pass too? besides the business stuff, he released some REALLY GOOD ALBUMS. if you've never given these albums a chance, do yourself a favor and LISTEN to them, before starting to talk shyt:

TRU - Tru 2 Da Game (never heard a bad word about this album...timeless shyt)
C-Murder - Life Or Death (top 3 gangsta rap album of all times in my book)
Mac - Shell Shocked
Mac - World War 3 (probably the most underrated album in No Limit's catalogue, dude was on his way to become a legend)
Master P - Ice Cream Man
Master P - Ghetto D (one of the most important down south albums ever)
Silkk - The Shocker (some of the best beats I've ever heard)
Silkk The Shocker - Charge It 2 Da Game (again unbelievable production, BBTP were going in)
C-Murder - Trapped In Crime
Fiend - There's One In Every Family
Fiend - Street Life
Soulja Slim - Give It 2 Em Raw (without this album, Slim would have disappeared from the rap game)
Soulja Slim - The Streets Made Me
Mia X - Unlady Like (you want a great female MC with a coherent dope album? get this)
Mia X - Good Girl Gone Bad
Mystikal - Unpredictable
I'm Bout It OST
I Got The Hook-Up OST (even Jay-Z hopped on the NL bandwagon)
Down South Hustlers Compilation
Westcoast Badd Boyz 2
Young Bleed - My Balls & My Word
Snoop Dogg - No Limit Top Dogg (probably one of Snoop's top 3 albums)
Snoop Dogg - Tha Last Meal

just off the top of my head...there's plenty more that many consider good-to-great albums (TRU's True, Gambino Family, Ghetto Commission, WCBB 1, Mr. Serv-On's 1st album, Kane & Abel's 2nd album...), but IMO not on the level of the above

too bad P couldn't get a deal done with UGK in 97 or 98 to release an album in cooperation with Jive (similar to Mystikal's 2 No Limit albums)

I vaguely remember the story of P slapping Baby's brother Gangsta back when he was in N.O. before moving to Cali. Prolly why NL and CMR never fukked with each other.

there were LOTS of stories about NL and CMR beefing.

Norfeast groovin…

I'm sayin, them Miller boys was crazy, them Williams bros was crazy, and in-between all this was a bunch of random street soldiers, some of whom would become rappers for the labels. I can only imagine the kinda missions B.G., C-Murder, and Magnolia Slim was on.

Y'all ain't even digging deeper. p's gangster is damn near unmatched in rap. Look at cats like Kane & Able, Boz, them nikkas is all official...Mr Serv-on was official...They were really about what they were rapping about.

I remember the story about Master P and No Limit breaking up the fight between Luke's people and Deathrow.

I also remember stories about C-Murder coming thru and cats like juvenile who is official tucking there chains in.

I can just imagine what real street shyt popped off between No limit and Cash money and No limit was also affiliated with cats like C-Loc and others...P gets love because he's a real nikka. It's obvious the crackers put a ball on him...

Just look at some of the cats in the back ground kingpins, hit men, cartels, damn near tied into the government like J Prince....shyt would read like a Donald Goins novel.
