I haven't read the whole thread, but black folks need to stop being so accepting of others. Not just in rap, but in general.

Coli has some of the worst logic...how many black people do you actually know that are trying to get into country music?
and I can guarantee any black country music singer would be called a c00n on here because to get money in that crowd you have to be into what is considered "white things"...
...black folks for the most part hold themselves out of the music.
Could you imagine if someone brought some country music to a black party
The names they would be called
shoulda been given to future

Country music is not stopping Blacks from entering the game. It's unless you have a foothold or have some sort of legacy, it's a hard act to get into. Darius Rucker is an outlier most of his fanbase were country fans to begin with so the transition was pretty seamless. Country is very slow to accept youth into its folds, I mean even Miley and Taylor have moved on into pure pop music. Country music executives are tighter than the mafia and its fanbase again is very conservative. Blacks could get in but it would take years and an image change to make anything of it.
If Nelly decided to do this "bro-country" bullshyt they talk about he'd probably do better numbers than he does with rap albums.
Mexicans and Amerindians love country.Wake me up when anyone who isn't a white girl or a redneck CAC likes country music. I know VERY few people outside of females who like country music. I don't know if someone has done a study on this but I'd argue Country Music would be most folks "least favorite" musical genre
