Has nothing to do with acceptance. We just don't sing country, how many nikkas you met talkin about "I'm a country singer" fukk outta here, in fact he'd prolly get clowned for saying some shyt like that. welcome to the black community, where you dont like something, never dab in it, but then ask why you're not accepted in it?

there is no doubt in my mind that if black people wanted to use their god given musical/rhythmical talents on country, we'd dominate it effortlessly.

He started as the lead singer of a pop group with cacs but you're right. He does do country music and he's the only nikka in it, they accept him because he started with a white group but you're right.

They weren't a pop group starting out. They blew up. Me and my boy back in the mid 90s actually got free tickets to one of his local concerts back home in Charleston SC (where he's from). We were like who the fukk is "Hootie and The Blowfish" , but the tix were free.

That was my first taste of a concert with cacs (and the last). Funny shyt is his brother, who's around my age, is the COMPLETE opposite. A Regular cool real nikka. shyt is strange. From what I heard, they don't "get along" (figures). The group blew up a year later. Hootie/Darius and the group all went to the same high school (my school's rival) back in the day and they are all still tight even with his solo thing.

But Darius is a "safe" nikka, so he won't get backlash.

Because black people only hate other black people. When it comes to really flexing on other races, we talk a good game, but don't really mean it.
