There's like 10 successful white rappers for every 1 black country singer.

Dudes in here naming 1 or 2 black artists, meanwhile hip hop is flooded with white rappers.
these white rappers don't sell shyt.... ice sold 10 mil in the 80s/90s then got kicked out when he was found to be fake

em sold a bunch late 90s/2000s

iggy sold some singles and her album flopped and nobody cares about her anymore

who are these SUCCESSFUL white rappers that been around? bronson couldn't even sell 20k.. these white rappers ain't doing shyt really.. 30 million bought views don't impress anyone

also lets be honest.. how many nikkas is trying to drop country albums?? does anyone know any??? i know at least 50 white boys trying to rap... so i can understand why you'd think there's more.. there are... but it's not like nikkas is forming country groups and records, and then getting denied.. i know NO black country singers even attempting that shyt

St Louis Rams!!!!!
This topic reminded me of this girl

"Mickey’s single debut of “Better Than You Left Me” is the highest one-week add total on a debut act’s first single in Country Aircheck history. “Better Than You Left Me” is also the No. 1 most added song at Country radio this week. "

Her videos have nowhere near the views of other country artist tho

1 nikka every 30 years and you call that diversity?
checks post... nope, ever said diversity... the thread is we aren't accepted

FACTS are we are accepted, we just don't try and get in

you nikkas acting like there's a long line of black country singers just dying to get in the country music game.... NO

don't be upset that there's a long line of white people trying to rap... and we only let like 5 sell any records in the entire history of hip hop

shyt i'd say the ratio to black men wanting to do country vs them getting in..... is a lot better than white boys trying to rap and getting in

don't give me fake ass youtube views... these white boys are unheard of and not cared about and definitely not on the charts

cd sales as a gauge of success is almost useless in this day of age
unless you're actually a great artist who sells cds... it's funny it's not a gauge.... it's numbers... when j cole drop and do 300k and young thug drop and do 15k, then kendrick drop and do 250k and bronson drops and does 20k... it's a fukking gauge alright

I'm defo not one of those dudes who bring it up I don't care about who sells I'm a grown man lol.

The biggest and most influential rappers of this generation have low album sales that's why I said that.
But people will still refer back to sales on this board when nobody cares about that in real life

so the biggest and most influential aren't

jay
em
wayne
drake
kanye
kendrick
cole
nicki
etc??

records sales is a record of how many people care enough to spend real money on you... if that's not a gauge of your success.. i don't know what is...

maybe not a gauge of great music... but if its so great, why nobody want spend 9.99 on it?

it's like that meme: likes equal zero dollars

everyone is a fan when it's free and downloaded and doesn't cost nothing... but are you a fan when it cost money to buy shyt and go see them at a stadium for $100 bucks a ticket?

This cat has nearly 30 million views and I haven't heard of him. Labels really buying views.

I've heard of him, guess tumblr/vine really does work for artists.

Cac "invasion" is overrated, Hiphop is the only genre were we have managed to keep a stronghold (at least on the artist front)
for damn near 30 years straight.

Action Bronson, Mac Miller, Eminem, G-Eazy, Iggy, Macklemore and Vanilla Ice versus 100s of 1980s-2010s black acts

It's incredible how they control distribution, media and buy the most content and yet haven't taken over this rap sh!t :gotdamnbreh:

Has nothing to do with acceptance. We just don't sing country, how many nikkas you met talkin about "I'm a country singer" fukk outta here, in fact he'd prolly get clowned for saying some shyt like that. welcome to the black community, where you dont like something, never dab in it, but then ask why you're not accepted in it? :why:

there is no doubt in my mind that if black people wanted to use their god given musical/rhythmical talents on country, we'd dominate it effortlessly.
