As far as I’m concerned. Drake can fart on a track and it streams crazy and “sells” records. The hits don’t even mean anything to me anymore. He doesn’t even have to work for them at this point. It’s automatic. And it can’t be accurately gauged because it’s not like fans are going out and actually “buying” this shyt. It’s all a game. I’ve met real life Kanye cult members. Can’t really say the same shyt for Drake. Ye would sell regardless of physical or streaming.
No matter what era an artist made a hit in, those aren't easy to come by especially not the scale of hits that Drake has made. And yes, there is work that goes into a hit song. Drake actually sold physical albums too before streaming took off. For someone to make hit songs for over a decade is a feat no matter who it is.
