It's crazy, AI been out the NBA for years now and he still got these damn Trolls puttin in overtime to hate on him at every chance.

Its crazy how crakkkas who never played basketball are in here talking reckless about AI when none of his peers ever disrespected him. In fact, AI was almost universally respected by his peers for his play on the court. Shaq even called him a top 5 player all-time. That was definitely hyperboly but it speaks about how highly he was viewed.
The man led an undermanned squad whose second best offensive player was Aaron McKie to the fukking NBA finals and was the only team to beat the Lakers during that whole playoff run. That alone should warrant respect.
People are obsessed a little too much about FG%. AI put so much pressure on the defense when he played because of his ability off the dribble. No one ever had a day off when they played AI. Gimme a guy like him on my team anyday of the week.
Only crakkkas and c00ns would disrespect the great Allen Iverson. He's a bonafide hall of famer and one of the 50 greatest players ever.

It's one thing if you're the 3rd option, but if you're the primary scorer and your team needs you to shoot a lot whether you make them or miss just to have a chance, it's testament to the responsibility of being the primary scoring option.

Unless you are a big man...the more you shoot the higher the chances are that your shooting percentage goes down as your career goes on
It doesn't matter WHO you are...if you make your living mostly on jumpers you are bound to level out at around 45% for your career.
I hate to use this argument for AI because he took plenty of bad shots, but thats a small dude taking all those shots. 42% seems about right. That's why people consider Jordan the GOAT...career FG % is JUST under 50% for a fukking GUARD that shot all the damn time.
