The Beatles were all multi-talented musicians, writers, vocalists, and producers in their own right; their technical influence is heard every day in a lot of popular music

Elvis just had a good voice, but he didn't write a thing and was a better piano player than a guitarist

Decades ago, you would've been asking about Johnnie Ray, who came after Sinatra and right before Elvis, it happens

Elvis ain't got nothing on The Beatles. Generations impacted by their music.

Beatles popularized and revolutionized music production techniques like sampling.

Elvis bit and did nothing else.

Beatles were so popular they were afforded the ability to experiment to do whatever the fukk they wanted and gave back to music in spades.

Elvis doesn't have a single song as good as this.

The Beatles despite their fukkery, were choirboys by comparison, however their presence is really felt on the technical side of things. The polished studio album is something they helped pioneer and spearhead the move away from live recordings.

While never shy of citing their influences, they appropriated a lot of shyt too, that's a whole other conversation though.

Just seems like The Beatles never stopped getting love and nobody is tryin to hear about no hunk of hunk of burning love :francis:
Elvis came out early 50’s Beatles was mid 60’s … no color TV, no Woodstock, establishing society after WW2 not trusting overseas shyt… that 10 year start difference is big… also members of Beatles are still alive and or lived into the 2000’s… Elvis expired in the mid 70’s…he came up during black and white TV and died 20 years after his first hit… not a long run way

Not an expert, but they went from Twist and Shout to Yesterday. And then they started getting into more psychedelic rock sounds.

Also, a lot of white artists that start with Black music, eventually transition out.

Do not be surprised if Eminem puts out a non-rap record, if he hasn't already.
