Because nobody likes Robin.
Is he even Top 50 DC character?

Cause they are fukking idiots.. Lets be real. We keep getting the same ass Batman movies over and over again. Which means they keep starting the fukk over... Which means by the time you'd get to Robin, something has already gone wrong and it's time for The Batman with Robert Pattinson.. So maybe in 2026, we'll be around to the point where we'd get a Robin. But they'll surely fukk that up by then
And Robin doesn't have to be campy or silly. You got dark, gritty batman with his upgraded tech and voice and costume. Dudes normally like 30-40 when the movie begins.. Get a 17-18-young 20s Robin.. Young fly dude that helps on the smaller side of the mission (Batman can't be everywhere). Give him a bad chick or love interest, make him always go too far and Bats gotta ease him down, make him wild and reckless to Batman's all knowing self. Make him the wildcard in the movie. Involve him in some twist or shocking action..
DO SOMETHING!!!! Shake it up. Spin it off into his own shyt. Do something new with these damn Batman movies... PLEASE
I want Robin badly in the movies. It's how you get to more interesting Bat stories. If you want Nightwing and want it to make sense/have impact dikk has to be Robin first, if you want Jason Todd's death and then Red Hood dude has to be Robin first. I don't like Damian Wayne so let's skip that. But I guess the dynamics of the relationship make Bruce look like a weirdo so creators just say nevermind. But I think they should do it, just make him 18+ and go from there. It would make Batman on film more interesting.Because it's hard to portray a live-action Robin origin story that doesn't come across as wildly abusive. The power dynamic doesn't translate well, and, really, hasn't read well since the golden age.
ExactlyI think it's a case of the folks who make the movies not really embracing the full on fukkery of comic book Batman that allowed for him to put a 12 year old orphan in panties and fairy booties and go swinging through Gotham City with him looking for violent criminals to fight.

What does that mean?So did Commisioner Gordon. He had numerous comic book runs

Gordon never had his own comic book.
Their have been multiple cartoon adaptations where robin as seen being "abused" or being fukked up due to his time with Batman.Because it's hard to portray a live-action Robin origin story that doesn't come across as wildly abusive. We have the live action Titans were dikk flatout labels Bruce an abusive father.
Dc films are not made for comic readers. They're made for lowest common detonator in the general public.
Yeah it’s just weird. Again to do it right you gotta show Bruce as being manipulative even if he does have the best intentions at heart. Idk how you do it right and not have Bruce come off as a bit of an a$$holeImagine having an unmarried billionaire with no children walking into an orphanage to pick our a supple, flexible young boy around 9 or 10 because he needs to be 'flexible' and eager to learn.
Not only that but now he wants to not only take in a young not only so he can 'train' him in more ways than one but train him to handle Batmans 'lightwork' still putting him in mortal danger more often than not but at worst become a sacrifice/meatshield until that boy turns 17-18 when he realizes that you are not only a manipulative selfish piece of shyt but that at this knowing all he has learned and surviving multiple life/death experience not to mention the psychological trauma inflicted not so much by the villians but by Bats himself that he is better having nothing to do with the guy.
Now make a movie out of that
Oh and it has to be PG13.
