Why do you think Robin has been featured so infrequently in the movies?

Hollywood thinks of the campy/corny 60's TV show/Chris O'Donnell Robin instead of comic book/cartoon Robin when they think Robin. Nolan's gritty version of Batman (and Burton's movies to a lesser extent) became the template for what Batman movies are so they think Robin can't fit into that.

Batman movies selling point has been to older collectors and Robin appeals to kids. The toy market isn’t as focused as it used to be when WB pushed for Robin.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Cause they are fukking idiots.. Lets be real. We keep getting the same ass Batman movies over and over again. Which means they keep starting the fukk over... Which means by the time you'd get to Robin, something has already gone wrong and it's time for The Batman with Robert Pattinson.. So maybe in 2026, we'll be around to the point where we'd get a Robin. But they'll surely fukk that up by then

And Robin doesn't have to be campy or silly. You got dark, gritty batman with his upgraded tech and voice and costume. Dudes normally like 30-40 when the movie begins.. Get a 17-18-young 20s Robin.. Young fly dude that helps on the smaller side of the mission (Batman can't be everywhere). Give him a bad chick or love interest, make him always go too far and Bats gotta ease him down, make him wild and reckless to Batman's all knowing self. Make him the wildcard in the movie. Involve him in some twist or shocking action..

DO SOMETHING!!!! Shake it up. Spin it off into his own shyt. Do something new with these damn Batman movies... PLEASE

If its not Nightwing then they would have to try to make him cool in some sort of way. Definitely can't rock his traditional outfit. Maybe I haven't read them in a while, correct me if I'm wrong, but imo they never brought Robin's acrobatics out more and put that into the forefront of his abilities. Like he should be doing mad wild ass backflips and shyt in fights and battles. Like he's damn near a mutant level acrobatics.

He isn’t dark enough of a character in juxtaposition to Batman, based on current versions of Batman...
