West Coast nikkas got the same complex.
Not really.

And, truth be told, the West Coast has lowkey produced better music than NY for the past decade or so: Kendrick, Schoolboy Q, Tyler, Vince Staples, Hitboy, Alchemist, Madlib, Earl, The Game(he's a clown but never had a dud until his last album), YG, Nipsey, etc.

NY had a better roster of prime emcees/lyricists back in the day but we've fallen from grace for quite some time. I love Pop Smoke but he's not a real emcee like that lol. Griselda's doing well though.

Charlotte by way of Chucktown What
Imagine making a thread about somebody having an inferiority complex while trying to push the idea that your regional favorite was everyone else's.

Stop confusing respect for Jay's hustle with respect for Jay's music.
Facts... When they was doing that mtv diary with Hov.... He was playing SOUTHERN music... :mjlol:

The south has some of the greatest lyricist to emerge: Andre 3000, Ludacris, Scarface, Pimp C, Weezy, Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Dungeon Family
I was about to hate on Luda when I saw your post, but he did have a good run, back for the first time is a personal classic to me. I still think he's punching way above his weight when he's in a list with face tho

Because at the end of the day, they know who is responsible for their blueprint on almost everything do and it burns their soul no matter how big they get they’ll always be looked at as NY’s little homies. It all comes back full circle to NYC so they have try and pretend that they’re just as big.

Jeezy being as big as Jay-Z is laughable. Jeezy couldn’t halfway pack some of the places that Hov sold out around the world.
