Over time in the hood it can and has been lost. Yet if you want an italian fiesta equivalent up north. You need to know what tavern is.
So you could get d'agostino's for five dollars all you can eat on like Wednesday.

i’ve never heard anybody say tavern style..hood folks , suburban folks, white , black , Mexican, etc..everybody keeps it simple and says thin crust
