If I said something like "Yorubas look like Igbos," do you think both groups would try to point out how different they look from one another?

For the most part, you can tell. If not from obvious physical tribal characteristics (Sudanese, Ethiopians, Kenyans, Ngerians - or rather Kikiyu, Omoro, Somali, Igbo, Hutus, etc ) then from the typical Africans-in-America uniform (men in sandals with any outfit, women with excessively long weaves/off centered lace fronts).
