Why do Most "Men" on the Coli think women benefit from divorce??

What logic are you guys using?

What logic are you using where the man doesn't, in most cases, give up assets and pay alimony to watch his ex-wife walk away?

I think what some people are saying if the woman has an job and receives child or spousal support if she can't make ends meet it's probably her own fault.

Alimony is awarded in only 15% of divorce cases but if you're in one of the rare cases where one of you has to pay alimony, if the woman makes more she has to pay.

It is important to understand that only about 10-15% of divorce settlements include spousal support.

Alimony is paid in only 15% of marriages which ends in divorce.

There was no significant difference between the 19.60% of mediated cases and 15.42% of adversarial cases in which $1/year alimony was awarded. Lump sum alimony was so infrequent an event that only five women in mediated and five women in adversarial cases were awarded it and thus no conclusions could be drawn about any differences in amounts of lump sum alimony.
