It's not true because the Dominican and Afro-Rican broads are lumped in with the Light skinned AA women.....Dominican and Rican chicks will have a stronger aversion to dark skin.....
Are you in NYC? I'm in North Jersey and don't see this

The light skin chicks on my facebook are always posting these erotic drawings of some light skin chick hugged up on a muscular dark skin breh :pachaha:
I've literally never seen any of those type of pictures, no matter the color of the woman, with a light skinned male :skip:

Because more of us are dark than light so it's almost impossible for a light skin Black woman not to date someone darker than her if she mostly dates Black men.

Don't live in NYC, I live in South Florida and the light skinned Dominican and Afro Latina's here aren't typically the biggest fans of dark skin...Some brehs have a tendency to put the light skin umbrella over all women of African descent, whether that be light skinned Dominican women or Mulatto women....But, light skinned (Non-Biracial) AA women don't view complexion the same way that light skinned Afro-Latina and light skinned mixed women do, generally speaking....

Isn't that the way it has always been since time immemorial? Black people of lighter shades have always mostly preferred black of darker shades and, vice versa. Just take a look at people in your family and who they married.

Only the "melanin" crusaders are trying to make this an issue, when it has always been like that.

Yep, we often gloss this over but, there are light skinned women with skin complexes the same way that there are dark skinned men/women that have complexes. In my family alone, I've heard dozens of stories of light skinned female relatives who've had issues with their skin complexion, blackness and would deliberately pursue dark skinned men....And if you ever hear a woman say anything derogatory about light skinned men, they tend to be light skinned themselves....

Anyways I'm a dark skinned breh, I love Black women in all shades and I'm all for Black folk loving each other despite differences in complexion...This shyt is trivial.....
I noticed a lot of my light skin cousins (which I have a lot of on my mother's side, I'm one of the darker skin ones) have all dated or married to darker skin men, They've dealt with LS men, but I've never figured out the reason for them doing that.

Here I'll see Dominican and Rican women stay with their own or go dark if they deal with a black man...that Trey Songz range at lightest but then some people would call that light skinned.
