Why do informed people buy Apple products over other high end phones/tablets?

Some people have been burnt a few times by PC and pc products and just got tired of it...... my last 3 cell phones been android phones that were hot in they "HAY DAY" but 6 months later became trash compared to say the at the time competing iphones. And I know most peeps now wanna hit me with the "oh but you should've checked this out, peeped this info" response which I call BULLshyt TOO. Cuz at the time, I did all the research, hell listened to some of yall hype, tested it out for myself (and at the time) bought in to it being equivalent or better.

At this time, I'm done, its hard for me to believe the 4th time will be the charm. I'm happy with my Mac (been through 3 pc's) and I'm copping that iPhone 5 pretty soon (last 3 cells been trash).

i bolded "entire" because you can upgrade parts of your pc instead of trashing the whole thing.

you can't do that with a mac.

Don't be so swift to call off the "Apple's products are basic" thing. That's their whole angle. They want your grandma using it. You can't conjure up stuff like that and try to call it complex. The hardware and such might be out there but those are things only people like us care about. The rest of it is packaged so it is made to be basic.

dude the last 2, I took to technicians, either they couldnt repair, didnt know the issue, or was gonna charge an arm and leg. I was like fukk it. I wont lie, possibly one day I may try again to repair them, but for now they sit in my closet collecting dust.

My mac I got, it smaller, quiet, more energy efficient, and just overall better.

Not to mention, I'm a graphic designer and in my field most people use Mac's anyway so its more convenient for me to transfer files or etc.

I think a part of the reason I like Mac's and will be converting is do to the fact that I'm a graphic designer, but on a personal note they just have been working out much better for me than the pc

i hear you man.
i'm a graphic designer as well and at my job we get art from some customers in mac/pc format. i used macs in college but after that i was strictly pc.

at first i would bring my rig to a comp shop, but i quickly began to take care of all problems myself with just a little research on the web. i've been upgrading and building my own pc's for the past 15 years.

if you put it together then you can take it apart and fix it rather quickly.

Why would a billionaire buy Honda for a daily driver instead of a Bugatti?

A) You cant use its full potential anywhere except on a track
B) Fuel Efficiency








Even outside of that people that are knowledgable would tell you its not worth the money and stress making a hackintosh system. With a Apple computer you have the option to multiboot into any other OS you want alongside OSX so if you want to break it down if you buy a Mac and are "informed" you can get essentially 3 computers for the price of one.

all these tablets come out with crazy spec but in real life they cant touch the iPad

people like to hate on Apple because of all the sheep who pretend like its the greatest thing ever but even when you discount them you'll see Apple makes some very good products

and when it comes to the pcs they clearly overcharge but the iOS devices are actually pretty cheap for what they do

if you want games, you get windows.

besides maybe some specific audio production stuff, theres nothing osx can do that a windows computer cannot, in terms of consumer capabilities.
