So before I got into the smartphone game a couple of years back, I was planning to get an iPhone cause like everyone else it was the only smartphone I heard on the news or saw other people rock. Before buying I did a little research and what did I find? I could pay just as much for a superior product in the Galaxy SII.
Now this past week I decided to get into the tablet game after waiting it out a while cause I felt my laptop was adequate. Once again, all I heard about was the iPad so that was what I was gonna buy. Once again did a little research and found that the new Microsoft Surface Pro was coming out this week the same time as the iPad 4 and basically shyts all over the iPad while being the same price.
Now I don't have a problem with people not wanting to get the highest end product on the market. After all we all make cost/benefit calculation when its comes to making purchases. But for the life of me, I just don't get why anyone would buy an INFERIOR PRODUCT for the SAME PRICE as a superior product.
Usually when your product is basic, you don't charge premium prices. Someone Apple is able to get folks to pay premium prices for basic products.
