Why Didn't Console Gamers Care About Framerate Before This Gen?

Framerate is king...the sooner you realize this as a gamer the better.

There is a stark difference between playing a game on your 4k TV and playing a game on your G-Sync/Freesync monitor designed with gaming in mind. That feeling alone is better not to mention the extra frames you get makes it an easy sell. A great example is how God of War feels on resolution mode on PS4 Pro which is downright awful.

Breh there's nothing like a silky smooth game running at 120~144fps on a G Sync monitor :ohlawd: The game looks LIQUID smooth. I know for folks who haven't yet seen one in action cannot comprehend how something looks smoother than 60fps. 60fps looks like 30fps to me now.
