If it had of blew Vince woulda been :king: status

he's still a great business man IMO tho, no one in the wrestling industry is better past/present/future

I don't think it would be a stretch to name him the single most important person in the history of pro wrestling/Sports entertainment from the 1920s-present day

Vince is a great "wrestling" promoter. That's not a bad thing by any means but stick to what you know.

They had garbage ass players for starters. Ryan Clement's sorry ass from the U was one of the starting QB's :damn: this bum was QB on some of Miami's worst teams ever.

Wrestlers cutting promos didn't do them any favors and the announcers were straight :trash:

1. They messed up by not having training camps. :what: They just put together teams and just basically had a few practices and threw them out there in week 1....therefore the product was awful for the first 3 weeks.

2. The messed up by going at the NFL...instead of just making themselves an alternative league. This pissed off the media, ESPN, etc., and they buried them every chance they got.

3. They should've NEVER had any wrestling related personalities on there. Not even the Rock with his football background...trotting him out there was a huge mistake. People didnt take it seriously and foolishly figured it was rigged or something. People like Lawler had no place being there.

The XFL was/is the closest I've been to an NFL game. :(

I hope we get an NFL team.

Went to 2 games and they were fun as hell. We sat up top and the peeps around us were funny as hell. I remember some dude rocking a Polk High Al Bundy jersey; during TOs cats would randomly chant "Bundy! Bundy! Bundy!" shyt was :laff: to me. I always wanted that jersey.

Honestly that wouldn't have been a bad idea, imagine a football player with the swag of Stone Cold or The Rock giving promos before the game and then doing some epic shyt in game. They should have went the harlem globetrotters route with the league. And built up characters and back stories

Joey Styles summed the shyt up perfectly on a dvd. Coke Boy came up with a league and thought nikkas would jump on the wave with pro wrestlers encouragong fans to watch. Aside from concussions wrestling ain't American football. Two diff worlds!

It was simply a tax write off for coke boy. First game did numbers and after that it was a slow :rip:

But at least we got ratchet cheerleaders

i got dibbs on the pawg yall can have the rest :smugfavre:

xflcheerleadergroup.jpg

and tommy maddox going pro later.

Plus out of nowhere the nfl swagger jacked xfl camera angles from coke boy Vince productions (after all the media outlets tried to body his creation)

I think the xfl truly ended the attitude era for all of us

It is what it is though

But anyway........Greenbay Packers all day fukk the XFL hollaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Calling it the XFL sure didn't help.

Honestly, the main reason to me was the fact that Vince didn't separate it from the WWF. There's plenty of people out there who think pro wrestling is a joke, so you know they weren't going to watch a football league that was related to a pro wrestling company. They wanted to laugh at it and see it fail for that reason. Plus, like someone else stated, you can't take shots at the NFL and try to over take them as the number 1 league. Never gonna happen.

we need a Rock in his prime era smiley doing the peoples eyebrow.

I'm serious
thats really gay, besides we have about 2 million smileys as it is, some of which have the same function where does it end?

what good business deals has he done outside of wrestling? :comeon:
a business handed down from his pops, talent raided from territories.Attitude era was case of copying the comp and rolling with russo's idea's.Now when the smoke has cleared his wrestling business is irrelevant..Even his wwe films aint making noise despite its biggest star leading most their movies :pacspit:
