They didn't play like it throughout the season, Wade was passed his prime and so was Bosh, bosh never looked as good as he did Toronto.

If you off name recognition then what actually happens on the court, then you can make that pass.

Thunder was more of a superteam with Harden, Durant, and Westbrook lm

Wade won a scoring title just 2 years prior to lebron joking the heat and he put up almost 30 for the finals against the mavs. Chris bosh was the man in Toronto and put up big numbers. The problem was Adjusting to who was going to be the #1 guy when all 3 were number one options not long before going Miami. Wade and bosh surrendered that role to lebron and injuries laziness got the best of Wade and bosh. Once lebron left and wade had to be that dude again, he got back in shape and is putting up numbers while in control of the heat offense since bosh is hurt.

It seemed after Miami everyone feared superstars would start teaming up more frequently. Not only have I not seen it after Miami(is Cleveland a super team:jbhmm:) it's not even getting talked about anymore
Do you see teams turning down forming super teams so they can play system ball instead?

That doesn't mean they were a super team.

Neither of them had any help on their teams that's why they joined up and they were the only 3 players on their team lol

Mario chambers and mike Miller actually looked decent in that 2012 finals series. Ray Allen saved lebron from 1 and 6. They had their contributors

I see teams realizing super teams rely on basically everything being perfect.

Building through the Draft/ not going for just home runs I wouldn't necessarily call system ball

They were reliable enough when it counted and terrorized the eastern conference doing it. He left when they couldn't do it anymore and got 2 other big names on his side kyrie and Kevin love with a decent squad. Now he about to be back in the finals again baring any unbelievable events.

Mike Miller literally had ONE playoff series in three years where he mattered in more than one game....and even in that series (Spurs 2013), he could barely walk, barely defend, and only scored in double-digits once with THREE goose-eggs. It's just with Lebron pulling the entire defense inside, having someone who can stand in place and hit an open three was huge. There are 100 guys in the NBA who could have given the Heat 5ppg on 40% shooting of open threes.

And Mario Chalmers? :scust: In the 2014 playoffs he averaged 6ppg and didn't break 8 points ONCE in his last 14 playoff games. In the 2013 playoffs he had 3-4 good games, but that just hid the fact that he was shooting 40% for the playoffs and sabotaging the team with bad decisions on the worst moments. 2012 was his best year, but again he was basically blowing up once a playoff series and then playing forgettable the rest of the time.

They contributed when they won and what happens after? He left and now got the Miami Heat reloaded in the cavs.

Because there are only a handful of superstars in the league, not nearly enough to make true "super" teams a thing. LeBron was the exception, where one true superstar left to team up with another true superstar.

Building through the draft also relies on everything being perfect. If a team had the means and flexibility to do what Miami did, they would do it. With the cap the way it is, it's just rare for a team to have the means and timing to put a superteam together. It's not a lack of interest.
Wade was the 2nd best player in the NBA in 2011. He definitely wasn't over the hill at that time.

The Heat was a superteam and that was obvious. Even if wade wasn't in his prime in 2013, he was still pretty good until he gotten hurt

no he wasn't. The heat were irrelevant until lebron joined them.

They weren't a super team because they didn't have a rotation

every good NBA team has three core players

There was nothing super about this team and they didn't really dominate any opponent
Yeah...I see the agenda
