I knew it was time to check out for good once they became champs

He got two WWF title shots in 1998 and both were against The Rock (on RAW and at the UK Capital Carnage PPV.) But yeah, other than that, I don't think he ever got any more, which is odd, because he was running with that "scrappy underdog with the heart of gold" momentum for most of 1999.He didnt even have a world title shot in any promotion.
