H1-b denials were in the 20s percentage under Trump an Obama now they are down to around 1-3%. We already know deportations are down. All of this stuff hurts ADOS/FBA the most.

This is a lie.

Obama created DACA to protect undocumented kids and granted temporary stay for asylum seekers waiting their cases. All while deporting over 3 million people.

Trump deported a fraction while establisg travel bans, seeking to end DACA and purposely separating deportees from their families (something Obama forbid, on paper)
Obama focused on removing undocumented immigrants with criminal records, Trump’s administration targeted a wider range of undocumented immigrants.

Trump failed to meet his own anti-immigrant standards mostly because he and the GQP majority gutted federal resources to deal with immigration. They creates a problem that didn't actually exist on purpose. It's why they kept rejecting Biden's immigration proposals in the beginning of the year.

The MAGA Right uses illegal immigration as a tool to maintain power. They don't give a fukk about immigration. They have zero productive plans outside of that fascist 2025 nonsense.

Obama is the best Right wing president the GOP has had in years. Trump is the worst and he's literally killing their party.

Besides, H1B denials under Obama were between 5-8%. They were high under Trump, but that didn't lead to better representation in tech for Black people.

Even with high denial rates for H1B visas, Black workers don't automatically benefit because the same structural obstacles remain. With those barriers still in place, tech firms that previously relied on foreign talent don't necessarily pivot to hiring Black professionals, they may instead further consolidate resources, automate tasks, or outsource completely. The real way to truly increase Black representation in tech, is to focus on investments in education, paid internships, leadership pipelines, and robust anti-discrimination measures that ensure equal access to jobs and promotions. The real key to this is systemic reform, not immigration policy, because those underlying barriers will continue to block access unless it's dismantled at the root.

The problem is if an immigrant is just going to work sending bread back home it's kinda hard to deport them unless you're doing round ups and round ups is basically stop and frisk.
