Why cant black men work together?

The give you another senario:

Imma business man and your a business man. Rivals through and through. But we have an agenda; we want to wrestle control of a said industry from another ethnic group.
Wouldnt it be smart to put our differences aside recruit more some more blacks in our industry and related industries and plan a takeover?

Even though race is a social construct, and in a better society, I would rather identify with ethnicity rather than race...I am willing to consider anyone that is half black, black if they wish to identify as such.

If someone can be from Norway and someone else can be from Greece and both can identify as white, even though hair, eyes, and skin are as far apart on the spectrum as can be, but on a societal level both can be considered equal and have the same rights in this racist country we live in.

Then blacks, half blacks, west Indians, creoles, Africans, and afro-whatever's need to stick together and pool their resources to achieve more. I'm tired of feeling like a victim, I'm tired of acknowledging I'm a victim...I refuse to do the shyt now...on a racial level, white people aren't doing anything that blacks can't do...if we actually stuck together.

Black men work together all the time in sports and in entertainment. Old school Black musicians seemed to work together pretty good. They were always writing music for each other, producing, playing backgrounds instruments and doing vocals on each other albums. We need to find out what their secrets are.

i read the prince years ago...i caint say i remember any of it...i will say i believe black people have accomplished as much as we can under current system...i dont envision much progress playing the same old [rigged] games by the same old rules...for our own sake black folks gon have to do some things that never been done before...things we cant copy and paste from other groups because we would be the originators/innovators..ya dig?...

I think part of the problem is that we are of the mentality that there can be only be one of us in any given industry space. If you go into almost any corporate environment, there's one or two black people there and they are fiercely protective of their spot as the company Negro. We don't want any other blacks coming in because we think that another black will take our spot.

So to your question, yes, we should absolutely link up and take over in that situation. But we rarely have enough trust of each other to do these kinds of coordinated attacks; we think that this other black person is going to betray us or even worse, bring in new blacks that will take our spot. We're just as distrustful of each other as white supremacists are because that's they way they've programmed us to be.

Now I do think we can overcome this, don't get it twisted...just offering my perspective on the topic as to why it doesn't happen in the here and now.

The bolded is essentially pan Africanism and I agree 100%. We gotta stop the petty divisions because at the end of the day we're all black and we're all oppressed globally.

When I drive through South Central LA, looking at all the gang strikes on the walls I often wonder why this is as well. On the Eastside, you have a huge black gang called ECC that wars with a huge Mexican gang called F13.

Even though many of these F13 gang members are racist as all hell against blacks, some of the other black gangs on the Eastside would rather war with ECC than F13. It's like...don't you get it? After F13 is done with ECC, they're going to go after the other black gangs as well.

It seems like we are hypnotized by this strange sense of tribalism to where we would rather side with those that hate us than those that look like us. The self-hate we carry as a legacy of slavery has been instrumental in keeping us in a state of suspended animation, making everyone else rich while we fight each other over the scraps.

That's because Mexican gangs in L.A. are organized, black gangs are not.

All these Mexicans gangs in L.A. have united under the Mexican Mafia to target and kill blacks. Lots of African/ non-DOS diaspora groups do tend to keep to themselves and pull money. I think it's more out of safety and the fear of bringing in an outsider and how that may disrupt the community (FBI agents). Also they just don't get the attention (which I think is a good thing).

Because a lot of us hate other black people. Man yeven do it to try to impress or be liked by whites/non blacks. The fukked up part is i'm used to some nikkas hating or not liking me for no reason, i've come to expect it.
