Why cant black men work together?

So Im thinking about the seen in the Godfather where Berzini and Vito came together to talk about pushing drugs in the black community EVEN AFTER Barzini killed Vito's son Sonny.

They were able to sit down and talk business even while being at war with each other.

Then Im thinking about the Wire when Avon couldnt see the wisdom of the CO-OP the that Prospect Joe and Stringer were trying to setup. He rather go to war and attract all types of bad attention.

Not to get into the camparison of fictional series but in real life why do you think black men tend to not be able organized and working things out in a civilized like men like Whites or Asians? Why do we have tendency to be so short sighted? Why do we lack the machiaviellian vision of East Asians and Europeans?

Gangs nowadays aren't run on the same principles. Black figures are either dead or in jail and nobody respects the "old heads" it's all about the young cats putting work in the streets today.
