I already said I got Hank's angle re: catching Walt/similar selfish ambition, that still does go past survival (You see Wal was quick to call for help). But nah, as a cop, you get to cover and you immediately call for back up in that situation. Hell, his cover was his truck, the horn is right there. Even if that wasn't the case, what he forgot his phone? Nope, that was ruled out woth him showing Walt the pic upon arrest. And Gomez's death wasn't shown to being THAT immediate either. Both parties was shooting for a good minute (and I don't mean literally). Hell, they could've started calling soon as they saw the trucks pulling up.
When the uncles of anarchy pulled up remember Hank asked Gomez if that was the reservation police, they had no clue shyt was about to go down. Soon as they got out the car they had their guns out so if Hank or Gomez go for their phone shyt pops off immediately. Also on the insider podcast after hanks death they said the shootout lasted less than a minute.

As far as going for the radio, I don't know if DEA cars have police radios or was that even a DEA car? Could've been Hank's own ride and no radio was installed.

But let's say a radio was in there. You got rounds coming completely through the truck so maybe he didn't want lose half of what little cover he had even though it was clear it was already a life or death situation. Maybe he knew it was pointless to even try going for that radio and instead was focused on trying to take a couple of them with him.

I laughed here.

No sir for the rest of that though.

Cuz Hank is supposed to be a trained professional, that's why. He's head of the DEA for crying out lot. Everything about how Walt handled situations always showed that he lacked experience/training within the field.
but Walt is supposed to be a genius and is going to get fooled by a trick that 14 year old could have pulled off?

if we want to debate on what is believable or not you have it completely backwards IMO

Only complaint I have here is that it shoulda been 2 hrs, and jesse shoulda been in the finale more....other than that, most of the complaints seem to be nit picking.
i would have liked a longer finale but it was still great IMO maybe we will get extra footage in the blu rays or something

He's a cop. It's SOP. He's trained for this man.

Once again, cops here gunfire like that in the background, they'd at least suspect something was up. They way they handled the whole ordeal, the nazis got away scott-free.

And Walt is known to him to being THE bigshot meth dealer, he didn't consider for a sec. that he wouldn't have any goons ready to meet them? The fukk!?

They would both be dead long before back up got there. To'hajiilee is 45 miles from Albuquerque. The "tribal police" is 2 people at a sub station. It wasn't referenced in the show but it's easily researched.

Feel legitimately bad for anybody who needs that ending explained.
Ya I literally had nothing to say after the finale. I was getting real philosophical talking about the show earlier in the season.... but the ending precisely defines every character.

Starting point & end point in breaking bad are predictable... its what happens in between that makes it so interesting

you're off base here. it was 10 people getting the jump on and opening fire with automatic weapons on 2, killing one and wounding the other in a matter of seconds. why are you surprised he wasn't able to hold a phone conversation with some dispatcher (which as @hexagram23 stated would have been inconsequential)?

The whole "Hank should've called for back up" convo is kinda :what: because that's exactly what Hank was going to do after he called Marie. Then Jack and his boys showed up and opened fire.

On point but I still disagree with this Jesse had emotion and he should have lived b.s

Jesse should have died just for being ungrateful he literally owed his life to Walt a couple of seasons ago and has been nothing but a crying whining baby who couldn't control his impulses

Or we going to forget this is the same dude who schemed up selling meth at a rehab meeting???

The passes he gets are crazy
PTSD is a bytch, bytch

Remember Hank was doing this off the books. He was not driving a DEA issued SUV so their would not be any radio. He would have had to phone it in and under those circumstances you are trying to survive and shoot back. Hank fukked up by going out their without any back up if he honestly believed Walt was this evil ruthless Kingpin.

nice finale, they even showed Hanks resting place, like every damn actor/actress got sum closure on the finale, but wha about my boy Better Call Saul?? heck even badger was in the finale, come on. If Jesse is scotch free, then Saul must b free too. He's a lawyer doesnt he have client lawyer privilege or sumthin I dont get why he would be on the run too still.
