Our economy is serviced based though.Because its the service industry jobs that will be automated.

It’s jot a threat because there fav celeb hasn’t called it outPeople still don't take automation seriously or see it as a threat. That is the problem from conversations I've had in real life.
if you think about , once automation takes over
I see the world embracing the social score system
Like China has
(Basically if you’re score is low you’re considered a low level citizen ) just imagine once they basically force you to accept trans , pedo , agendas , this is scary brehs
This shyt needs to be talked about more , I don’t wanna hear no “CAC ruin the world “
Breh idk if the Illuminati is real but I believe something is causing everyone to be against each other , think about it man
Yes it is.Our economy is serviced based though.
My biggest concern with it is will politicians been smart enough to get out ahead of the issue and implement ubi or will they wait long after the devastating consequences.Yes it is.
Creates cheap labor and eliminates the needs for human employment like wages, medical and PTO.
And nobody really gives 2 shyts about it.
Long as you get what you get when you ordered it.
Things change new jobs will created old ones will be eliminated.
People often have an inability to see their own mortality let alone the elimination of their industry.
Most of us are accustomed to having not seen industries completely wiped out. The jobs that make up the majority of the economy in the U.S. and the world:
Can be automated relatively easily with the current technology. The issues really only holding it back right now are the logistics and the legislation of that automation.
- Manufacturing
- Retail
- Admin/Clerical
- Truck Driving
My position is this, productivity is inevitable and apart of the human condition, people are impatient and do not want to wait, and they want it as accurate as possible, but the pace of productivity coming is unlike anything we have ever seen before and at a pace that we have never seen before.
I'm not someone who like to create laws upon laws upon laws, but we don't have any real idea what this automation means for society...forget the economy. And for that reason, we should probably slow automation of any and everything down until we understand what that means for the economy and society. But I already know this won't happen.
So my next question is, what happens when there isn't gainful employment? People get purpose and meaning from their work. Sure, most of us don't like to do work, or would be working on more creative endeavors but the aim seems to be automate creativity as well.
It does not look good if automation eliminates 90% of jobs.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely...
Same with automation, unless societies agree to limit the impact technology has on human's job security, then unemployment, public service dependency, and various social ills and isms will increase
Recall the the positive reaction and plans on buying stocks in that pepsi thread, when they announced plans for increasing automation...celebrate your long term hardship brehs
