Why be mad about something you can't change? It's like being mad that the sun rises every morning. :yeshrug:

Parents don’t give a fukk about the environment and that’s the world they’re passing in to their kids. Nothing is a problem until it is

It's because it's inevitable. As part of capitalism... (cost cutting, efficiency) At this point we are driving full speed at a brick wall the only expectation is profitable corporations at all costs. Human impact is collateral damage.

convenience is killing us ultimately by design everything has to work easier even if it works against us. the problem is that there is no forward planning for the inevitable even though it is very predictable. Who's talking about transitioning the unskilled work force? And not just them... specialized jobs like Accounting and such are the next frontier of automation as part of AI expansion. We need to be considering what the future looks like.

Isn't the social score in China just a joke type of thing?

It's a real thing and keeps them in check...

People lovin talking this "freedom" bullsh!t but imagine 1.4 billion being "free" for the CIA to manipulate :laff:

Because I'm a proponent of UBI, I am a bit worried about the negative impact it could have on health though, people are already lazy enough. I think in the long run it will help socialism more than hurt.

I was in College station Rd Kroger in Athens the other day & they literally didn't have lanes open except for the scan & go stations.

if you think about , once automation takes over
I see the world embracing the social score system
Like China has

(Basically if you’re score is low you’re considered a low level citizen ) just imagine once they basically force you to accept trans , pedo , agendas , this is scary brehs

This shyt needs to be talked about more , I don’t wanna hear no “CAC ruin the world “

Breh idk if the Illuminati is real but I believe something is causing everyone to be against each other , think about it man

People often have an inability to see their own mortality let alone the elimination of their industry.

Most of us are accustomed to having not seen industries completely wiped out. The jobs that make up the majority of the economy in the U.S. and the world:
  • Manufacturing
  • Retail
  • Admin/Clerical
  • Truck Driving
Can be automated relatively easily with the current technology. The issues really only holding it back right now are the logistics and the legislation of that automation.

My position is this, productivity is inevitable and apart of the human condition, people are impatient and do not want to wait, and they want it as accurate as possible, but the pace of productivity coming is unlike anything we have ever seen before and at a pace that we have never seen before.

I'm not someone who like to create laws upon laws upon laws, but we don't have any real idea what this automation means for society...forget the economy. And for that reason, we should probably slow automation of any and everything down until we understand what that means for the economy and society. But I already know this won't happen.

So my next question is, what happens when there isn't gainful employment? People get purpose and meaning from their work. Sure, most of us don't like to do work, or would be working on more creative endeavors but the aim seems to be automate creativity as well.

Your last point about the Illuminati is an interesting one. I know the Illuminati was a real organization at one point. I don't think it exists now...but when you have all of this power that's inevitably going to go only to several people at the top, I think an Illuminati-like organization is inevitable. People do not want to relinquish power and wealth...and when it's only in the hands of a few, what do you think will actually happen?

  • Neo-Fuedalism
  • Secret Governments/Societies
  • Assassination of dissidents
  • Genocide

It does not look good if automation eliminates 90% of jobs.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely...

People still don't take automation seriously or see it as a threat. That is the problem from conversations I've had in real life.
