Hard for a black man to break in and then survive in that world when it's safeguarded by cacs and c00ns.
Why would you even think about doing this? You can't express contempt for white racism in a white ass white collar environment.
Look for an entry level government white collar job and lie about your experience. Doesn't have to be in your field.
Obtaining a white collar job is symbolic of accepting mainstream middle/upper middle class ideas of living which includes conformity, blandness, being “safe” and not rocking the boat among others things.
Part of the problem is that you think that you can be your jersey, timbs, and snapback urban self in an environment that sees that as foreign, inferior, and not a “good fit”.
To be successful as a black man in corporate white collar America will require conformity to those ideas. There is a certain amount of divorcing of self that needs to be done to be a “proper fit”.
The question you have to ask yourself is which type of black man are you? Are you the type of black man that is ambitious enough to do whatever it takes, even if it means divesting parts of yourself to conform to middle/upper middle class ideas in order to be successful within white collar America? Or are you the type to have “principles” and have the need to always be able to express your urban version of blackness?
There are some blacks that can juggle both but you appear to not be one of them so you have to make a choice. You can be successful with either path you choose, however, the latter will be ten times as challenging.
Here’s a secret though: most folks that end up being successful are chameleons.
I’ma give you some tips to get in most, if not all white collar office jobs as a black man breh:
1. Take as much bass out of your voice as possible, try and sound as close to a woman or rupaul as humanly possible because you don’t want cacs to think you’re an “aggressive black man”
2. Find the tightest suit from TjMaxx’s fall collection you can possible find because loose baggy clothes are too urban
3. Practice bein a cac suck ass. Like on some military sir yes sir shyt but as a civilian. Get as much shyt on your nose as you possible can, visualize your face in between musty ass cheeks of a obese cac with a lot of cats named Becky.
4. Being , fat and/or gay is always a plus because your aren’t a threat and unassuming
5. Be able to discuss “post racial” societies, know taylor swifts entire discography, watch every season of friends, eat gluten free foods like bagels and shyt, and you have to love Starbucks ( if you get cops called on you just be calm and leave promptly, don’t make a scene because it could happen to anyone regardless of race ).
Anything else I can help you with just ask fam...

I used to be in the same boat op.
My advice is to look for an entry level government white collar job and lie about your experience. Doesn't have to be in your field.
Many state /city/ county jobs just want a degree in any filed and dont really care about experience for entry level jobs doing administrative stuff. its a start, you work your way up.
