I know exactly what it means.
But more importantly I understand how it's used.

It's used to refer to blacks in a derogatory manner.

Just like Italians call black people Moolies.

A mooliyan is an eggplant but it's what they use to call black people the n word.

Just like Mayate is a dung beetle but means the n word when used by Mexicans.

Now back to the topic at hand.

Many Mexicans refer to black music as "Chicano oldies" while at the same time hating black people. Yes or no? :jbhmm:

Manyof them? I'd say no

Some yeah :francis:

Do you have tribal enrollment?
Do you get a reservation check?
No.
You're not native american, you're not black, and you're not asian.
What's brown? Are you darker than me? If not, you a white messican.
Mayate is a racist term.
Pinche mayate? :mjpls:
I know about that. The correct term is MORENO.

I've been described as being moreno

and where the fukk is this native indian shyt coming from? I'm just describing my color ,you mean mestizo

As per the word mayate, I can't defend or deny any of it, I'm just telling you what I thought it meant

Never been described as being white Mexican ever :francis::hhh:

Since You From LA Why Don't You Go To A Mexican Hood And Tell Them How You Feel? Record It So We Can See Too.:coffee:
Y'all getting so defensive yet I've never called any Mexican person out of their name or said anything racist about them in this thread :mjlol:
I'm saying nothing but facts :mjlol:
Mexicans claim music they didn't create as their own:mjlol:
This is nothing but the truth :mjlol:
Please come in here with facts that show that I'm wrong :mjlol:

So I'm confused as to why you're in here attacking me about an observation I've made about the hypocrisy of enjoying black entertainement, yet not respecting black people?

If I was in here calling Mexicans "wetbacks" or something like that I'd understand you being upset, but I'm not.

Seems like me simply calling out the observation somehow makes me a racist according to you.

Those are the tactics alt right Trump supporters use on blacks anytime black people bring up race. Claim the black person is a racist for simply discussing it.

Hispanics and Latinos in general are huge culture vultures. :mjpls:
There is no POC solidarity. Black and "brown" solidarity does not exist. AA's in general aren't too fond of Mexicans. Both groups look down on each other. :francis:

hella international
Chicanos are descendants of Latino immigrants, which means that Chicanos were born in the US. This is not like a Mexican coming to America and claiming these artists -- rather its Hispanic-American youth who grew up listening to music being played in this country.

I know what Chicano means.
Explain to me how them being American suddenly makes it okay.
