He's right though flannel and dikkies was worn by everyone. It's a post WW2 factory look. My family came to Cali from Texas and Louisiana to work in the factory.Kids from all ethinic groups picked up on the style.

Only thing I'll say is these rap nikkas actually idolize these Mexican cartel leaders (although for all the wrong reasons) and that's why so much of what they do is named after them.

They saluting their hustle and showing respect.

It's not like you gunna see these dudes doing all this, then calling Mexicans wetbacks like Mexicans do to us.

So who is bumping these oldies on an everyday basis? Who is going to see these old artists perform on a regular basis? Chicanos. Doesn't mean we made the music, we simply appreciate it. I never hear any Black people bumping oldies. Ever.
