Why are Humans so afraid of Rats and Mice?

If I saw such a big rodents in my house i don't think I could live there again

These NYC subway rats aint no joke.Some of shyts get big as cats fukk them

They wait on the platform with you. Those rats are smarter than half the regulars in Higher Learning. They know their surroundings, avoid the 3rd rail, don't eat the rodenticide, and know the train schedule. I used to lean near the wall when I was younger til I heard that rats live behind the wall.

True i guess for the cultural part. But from an evolutionary stand point those afraid of mice and rats would have a better chance of survival.Even if they were not aware of the why.Not sure when people realized it was fleas from rats and mice so hard for me to say how bigthe cultural aspect is.

I was in New York last year coming up out of the High Street subway stop in Brooklyn and seen a rat damn near the size of a bottle of Gain laundry detergent. shyt had me shook as hell
