Mice are one thing. Never really feared them, but rats? nikka, I've seen rats out here that are almost the size of my cat. I can't.

or gerbil status to me. Rats on the hand aren't they aggressive?? i mean maybe if someone had a domesticated one they kept as a pet i'd be cool with it being around....but just any ole feral rat??? 
I grew up around cattle and other livestock, etc.
I'll stand in front of a 2,000lb bull with no fear. I can see him in front of me. I'm used to them.
I dont like rats/mice for the same reason I dont like cats. I can't see/hear them and they just pop up on you in unexpected places. I went to someones house one time and went to their bathroom....I walked in, turned on the light and a big ass cat was sitting on the counter staring at me.
