I don't expect to change your mind. I'll admit; I'm trollin' a bit.
I pretty sure; it doesn't matter what group I name. Because I'm sure you'll ignore the many accomplishments black women are achieving. Then, only to magnify things they go through--some they probably have a big hand in.
For example; single parenthood. That's not exactly some type of disease they contracted. They made decisions to create the situation along with another adult. And it effects the entire black community, equally. Scratch that; it hurts black children thrice as much.
The fact of the matter; I don't think the evidence exist and it's just another example of the victim-hood we try find ourselves in.
The bolded might even offended you. You probably take that as (just like you did with my position on the state of BW) me sayin', all the things black folk go through is their fault.
No, it means we've come an extremely long way, despite the madness our race has had to live through.
I truly believe we live in the best time for black folk, collectively, that most any other time in America. Sixty years ago, we were being lynched with impunity.
We need to stop "embracing the struggle." It contributes to us neglecting breaking the cycle. Ex. Yea, this is gonna be my 2nd child out of wedlock, but, I've done it before, so I'm good.
Black women have it better than they've ever had. And despite the mess they go through, they've been through worst and will thrive.
I have too much love for us to believe we're down.
