According to some americans they are the only ones who ever dared stand up to oppression. But the ones that kill me are the white americans who act like they were so oppressed by the British.Tell em!

Most Canadian blacks are like British blacks without the accent. They ape the African American culture, adopting our music and style, but they lack the experience of being African American. Only we can truly exude the authentic experience of being black in the West, because we are the oppressed descendants of the men and women who built the Western empire.

Another clown who believes the black experience is dictated by a bunch of c00nish, ignorant acting black Americans. The black experience is universal. It's not like when you step out of your country things change. There's nikkaz in your own country who can't relate to what you're talking about. Go outside.
Also, most black Canadians have African or West Indian lineage (which is basically the same shyt) so you bragging about oppression is retarded as hell. You need to read up on history though cuz we are all descendants of the opressed.
Canadians are more of a mix of West Indian and American style from the way we talk, act, dress.

I think it's because they don't have their own accents. Black Canadians talk exactly like white Canadians down to their enunciation and even voice. Every other diaspora, you can tell the speaking distinction between the black population and other ethnicitys. It's weird, the Weeknd sounds like a black man on records but when you hear him speak, he sounds like Kermit. And we all know how Drake actually sounds like. 
Another reason we might think they're weird is because they don't have a culture that was homegrown in Canada that they can claim as there own. Alot of what they do culture wise are borrowed from their parents homeland and different American urban cities. So they might not come off too authentic.

There’s no black Canadian culture (there’s hardly a Canadian culture anyway)it’s just a mix of West Indian American and African . Whereas black Brits have the same mix of influence but have developed their own culture

Most of the c00ns aren't in America; they're in Britain, Canada, and Africa. African Americans have a c00n problem,but it's very minor. And you know why? Because we are on the front lines in the fight against white supremacy. We are authentic soldiers against the army of white supremacy. The black experience starts in America, in the hearts and minds of the children birthed by slaves who spent centuries powering the engine of an empire that reigns over you and everyone else. I'm not dissing Canadian or British blacks by what I'm saying. I am responding to the OP, who asked why Canadian blacks gave off a weird vibe. I am telling him and anyone else curious about it that black Americans appear more genuine because we were born in the belly of the beast. We aren't pretending.
