Not judging at all. SOmetimes we say shyt for kicks and giggles but OP sounded like he was serious. But he's not alone. Haitians for example consider black americans as "blanc" which is "white". To them you as a black american are no different than your white counterpart. Understand that im speaking about haitians in Haiti who have never set foot in the U.S. Anyway, it's not until you live in the U.S. that you get to see and understand the difference between black and white americans

Put it this way they same way you find them weird, other black people find you, as an american, weird. It's just being different. Different environments. Different history. Different people. I dont see what's so hard to understand/accept.

There is no "standard black" behavior that we all should follow.

The point is, we're still letting other people police our behavior.

I don't and never will understand this concept of real "blackness" .

Worse yet, it all stems from stereotypes made against us by other groups (namely whites).

Surprisingly enough, I've only encountered arrogant AAs on this site. The ones I've met in real life have been OK people. AAs get no hate from me.
