Its more than taking cues.

There's definite idol worship. The racial issues come in when you idolize a group who actively and verbally express their disdain for a people.

The Italians are historically one of the most racially hostile white etnic groups towards black Americans.

Theres a clip of a reporter interviewing John fukking Amos outside of the courthouse at Gotti's trial. He said he didnt know him but really liked the way Gotti handles himself.

James fukking Evans Sr.

Decades later theres footage of Gotti screaming at his grandkids for "acting like ******s" as casually as he would if they forgot to take out the trash.

Its okay to respect someone for how they handle themselves. Idiolize a group who think you're simple, degenerate two bit crooks is another thing.

New York rappers get vicarious thrills through mobsters like everyday people get vicarious thrill through rappers.
.
Its all fantasy and escapism.
who are these people idolising them?

none of that racial shyt matters because we are talking about criminals...
...you would feel better black killers & rapist were talked highly of?

what does someone being racist matter if were already bigging up a person that will kill a businessman because that business owner wouldnt be extorted?

besides...black folks idolize plenty of black psychopaths...you dont have to worry about that

Don’t give a fukk about the Italian mafia. The N’drangheta interests me though. They’re more powerful and move in silence for the most part.

Dudes in here making excuses and saying it's no different than white kids dikkriding GDs or bloods or whatever:mjlol:. The main difference is the mafia were (is) racist af against black people. John gotti is literally on video calling black people n1ggers. They used to purposely sell drugs to mainly black people to keep us subjugated while they thrived. There were literally mobsters who used to drive around and kill random black people they came across. Alot of black men have no sense of pride and it's truly embarrassing when you break it down:francis:.
Many black men prefer to be servants of other groups' kingdoms. As a Group, many black men are Conquered by other groups of men and don't have a problem with this.

I think more and more black men are starting to take this serious. It's become apparent to most black men that other groups won't be fair. Especially as we have worked in this system being told all we have to do is work hard, but that still doesn't close the gap. That's why dudes are starting to look at leaving their spot. When you're outnumbered it's hard to get that foothold, why not go somewhere where the people look like you or at least accept you as you are without much prejudice.

Everybody loves organized crime in America because most of our communities are rooted in organized crime, even the white ones.

The Jewish gangsters just got smart and made all the best movies about the Italian gangsters to make them the face of organized crime and take the pressure off the Jewish gangsters that made all the real money off the crimes themselves as the top of the pyramid, and they also made all the real money on the back end selling the stories.
They never mention that the Russian mob is mostly Russian jews.

Hip hops entire gangsta swag based image comes from the mafia..
Kool g rap is the godfather of east coast gangsta rap. His whole vibe is mafia based.

AZ of paid in full fame created mob style, album is filled with mafia sounds

Raekwon still talks about the mafia in his last vlad interview. I read his book his white friend he hung with as a kid’s dad was in the mafia. Cuban linx is the goodfellas of hip hop. The nicknames and shyt is all mafia stuff. Sammy the bull lucky luciano shyt legz diamond bugsy siegel shyt. Goes even back farther to founding of america as rebels honestly. 5 points gangs of new york, wild west/cali has its own shyt.

All the guys who hip hop elevated from the 70s worked with the mafia cause they had the streets on COMPLETE lock. In a way that we will never see again. Thats why.

I imagine a kid born 2000-today having no idea how big it was back then in nyc. Mafia white kids was hittin all over nyc like these black youngins in chicago now. Its a totally different time.
No way you from NYC talking like this because the mafia held no kinda weight whatsoever in black hoods in NY in the 80s or 90s. At least not in BX and Harlem. Throw the Heights and Dyckman in there too. Wasn’t no Italian kids coming nowhere near a black/Latino hood and violating :camby:

And I’d say that Mafia worship was more an East Coast thing. Them west coast dudes weren’t on that at all. And they technically the ones who brought that gangsta shyt to rap.

Entire mafia got ricod in 85 bro. Ran to the outter boroughs in the early 80s. Drugs vhanged the game starting in the 70s. And no , no italian kids violated because whites violate whites and blacks violate blacks. Plenty of white gun violence in nyc up until the mid 90s in those neighborhoods.

But us born in the 80s know about its rep from the generations before. Mafia anything was donezo by 85.

But for example. In the area ya talking, P

Thats what carlitos way is about… who do you think supplied the heroin pre 80? I used 2000s cause that would be first generation to never really know it at all. Us born in the 80s were well aware of what the mafia was like even if we didnt experience it.

Everyone in my family a generation above me has horrible mafia stories to tell.
