America has an obesity epidemic and these dudes want to pay for all that. We have a population of 331,000,000. Compare that to the 31,000,000 in Canada and 25,000,000 in Australia :picard:

You can't simplify this problem by simply pointing at fat people.

Matter of fact our system discourages preventive care as the video pointed out.

Something like 40% of the country is obese. Yeah that's a problem. Ain't like everybody is healthy. The more unhealthy folks you have, the more you gotta pay. Living costs is way to high as it is, and y'all wanna tax on top of that.

Talk about how rent is too damn high and then want to raise taxes in the next breath:picard:

How do you think insurance companies work? :pachaha:

When you pay for health or car insurance, you don't just pay for yourself. The insurance company is actually pooling the money of it's enrollees together with the hopes that most of its healthy participants won't really need the shyt in an effort to lower costs for it's riskier enrollees. It's called risk pooling.

Anyways you're paying for other enrollees even when you're paying into a private system (while also making sure investors get a kickback as well). That's why it's a system that is meant to scale so your original comment about small countries being able to do this easier goes right out the window.

The difference is those small countries don't have racist who would rather hinder themselves then to see someone they hate get any type of benefit

Obviously it was said with sources to back it up.

For example America has faced recession levels not seen In Australia.

You can go anywhere in the world and find people talking shyt about their countries breh.:comeon:You don't know if the grass is greener or no not. All I'm seeing is he said, she said, propaganda:unimpressed: People that supposedly hate this country, but they still hit, don't even have any type of plans or goals on moving.:unimpressed: All that talking with no actions to back it.

All the high rent talk is non sequitur

As for the bolded how does private insurance deal with this any better? As a matter of fact you have already seen the results and It's already a "tax" on the system in the sense that its an extra expense. And if you ain't paying for insurance now you will be in the future when you forego yearly checkups dealing with an emergency bypass surgery 20 years down the road.

Perhaps if people could afford preventive care we wouldn't be in this position. That's why I mentioned it in the first post you quoted.

Can’t say that because that wouldn’t happen but the blue governments in America do provide more services for their people than the red people do
I'm for socialist programs like those in Europe and Asia though, especially healthcare. Hell, even many central and South American countries have affordable healthcare.

I've lived in socialist countries and they're fine with me. less crime and no shootings, healthier people. Kids have better education, Can play on playgrounds, etc.

In a way, blue states seem to keep failing... maybe because the populations are too great...or there's corruption...or they're looking out for big business...or some other reason. idk. ppl are leaving blue states for red states. :manny:

true... Many sicknesses could be prevented... Banning high fructose corn syrup (like many countries have done), having very high standards on food, cut out processed food. ppl will bytch and moan, but they'll get over it. Ppl complained about having to wear seatbelts at one point too

Actually high rent is logical to bring up. Why wouldn't it be? You want to raise taxes to pay for healthcare on the same people struggling to pay rent.

People want $15 minimum wage, and the first thing you do is tax them more:hhh:

And obesity isn't a preventative maintenance. Just stop eating:russ::mjlol:
