Exactly.

no one can seem to point to these superior acting chops from these Brit led movies.

All those shyts are forgettable by next month

it’s like nikkas just keep repeating some shyt they heard.

Kalluya’s acting didn’t make Get Out. The script and direction did.
cause thats what these nikka's defense for this is, just relaying shyt they heard from some other mothafukka.

:dahell: your in a thread revealing how british actors and actresses are landing american roles in order to do that they have to shave their british accents and have an american accent, like you really doing this?
.

So basically your post is bullshyt... impersonation =/= acting.... and on top of it... using your logic, black British actors have better American accents than black American actors..... :mjlol: Here’s the rub, it’s all types of flavors of American accents... Deep South, New Orleans, NYC, Baltimore accents, Cali accents, etc... and Brits suck at all of them.... your entire post was contrived BS

even though I'm ultimately for who ever is best for the role should have the role regardless of which black ethnicity, alot of these brits don't have the nuance to play a complex black american role. They don't have the presence either, except Idris, but even then his true accent slips when he's yelling in the movie. I did notice Daniel Kulaayu in Scorpio though regardless of his supporting character. We'll see what's he's truly made off with that Hampton movie. I think he can pull it off.
But there's not a black Brit actor that's even on Eddie Murphy level(in serious scenes). let alone the heavy hitters...
But herein lies the problem and its even in your post. Every time it comes to , point out the great black american actors, you all naming Eddie Murphy. Will smith, Denzel, samuel l jackson. These are people who are 1st off 50 60,70 years old and came up in a time where drama course were more readily available. I once wanted to get my son some acting courses, there was literally nothing available around me and I would have had to drive a hour away to get him in a class and it would have cost hundreds a month. Back when those guys were coming up all they had to do was join a club after school for free. That option is nearly eliminated especially in predominately black school districts.

This is not including the money it cost for portfolios, hiring agents etc. All I'm saying it's not as simple as they hired a british actress. You listen to some of these folks you would think eviro paid for the movie directed and wrote the movie too.

And your entire post is deflecting from the point that was being made. You all cant come with a retort so you begin to purposely miss the point. The proof in the pudding dumb ass that they pulling off the accents. They getting the roles! Do you have a response to the level of training uk actors and actresses get in comparison to American actors and actresses? No you dont , since you dont move the fukk on and stop wasting my time with this frivolous ass angle you trying to carry me on. You declaring these folks suck is a matter of your biased opinion that clearly casting directors dont agree with.

Obviously you are mildly retarded.... I’m not deflecting or avoiding shyt... Your stance was that Brits do better lingo and accents than American actors... I asked for 3 examples(and of course you couldn’t provide them), and you replied “American” as to say that Brits have better American accents than actual Americans, which in conclusion, it’s logical to say that you’re either trolling or suffering from some type of mental impairment... and none of this rubbish provides evidence that they are actually better actors.... You need to stick to discourse with high schoolers

That was not my stance you mental retard. It was my opinion, just like the fact they suck was yours Are you following the conversation at all? The point of my post was the training they get in comparison to what is taking place in america. Your saying they suck but admitting they getting the roles by the fact your complaining about them getting the roles. Like how dumb are you? If they sucked they wouldn't be getting the roles....duh.

Now your trying to once again invoke your own conclusion impose that on me then argue against what you imposed in the 1st place. Which makes you a damn idiot I'm not going to go down this road of arguing opinions. The accents is only a portion of the reason they get the roles. I only pointed out the ability of them shaving their british accents to further a point of the training they get. You think they suck. Yet they get the roles which means your opinion dont mean shyt lol the mildly retarded portion of all this is seeing person make a whole post dealing with performance arts in the uk vs performance arts opportunities in america and you totally ignore that point to try to argue who has a better accent lol. That is what makes you the retard. cant stick to the dam topic lol

You really trying to play semantics on this. I stopped reading right here... Like I said, you’re not that fukking bright

stance
noun [ C ]

UK

/stɑːns/ US

/stæns/

stance noun [C] (OPINION)
thinking about something, especially expressed in a publiclystated opinion:
The doctor's stance on the issue of abortion is well known.

The irony of this being Cambridge’s definition for the word.... :dead: You really should just go to sleep right now

so name these young new UK british actors then.
that have shown to be able to convincingly play and act as an ADOS

No he aint:mjlol:

Oh I'm not saying that they play AA convincingly....but if the studio feels like the difference is negligible and the Brit costs less, he's going that route. Especially since the young Brit will (usually) have a deeper resume with more stage work, small films etc.
